Das Majhūl-Datum (arabisch: تمر المجهول - tamar al-majhūl, auch bekannt als Medjool, Medjoul oder Majhool, ist eine große, süße kultivierte Dattelsorte (Phoenix dactylifera) aus die Tafilalt-Region von Marokko, [1] auch in den Vereinigten Staaten angebaut, [2] Israel, Iran, Saudi-Arabien, Südafrika, Jordanien und Palästina. Die Sorte wird sowohl für die Ernte als auch für die Landschaftsgestaltung gepflanzt. [3] [4] Der Medjool ist eine eigenständige Landrasse, auf der "große Beerenfrüchte mit orange-gelblichem Fruchtfleisch und einem milden, reichen und angenehmen Geschmack" produziert werden.
